What is a Connection?

A Connection is a quiet link between two plates. It is not a friendship, not a follow, not a chat invitation. Both plates simply know they are Connected.

How a Connection starts

Either plate owner sends a Connection Request. The other side accepts, declines, or simply ignores. The sender never knows which.

You choose how much communication is allowed

When you accept a Connection, you pick one of four levels. You can change it any time:

• Silent — Silent: connected, but no messages at all.
• Icebreaker — Icebreaker: the sender can choose one short pre-approved greeting. No custom text.
• Note — Note: the sender can send one short message (up to 50 characters). No links, emails, or phones.
• Open — Open conversation: free messaging back and forth, on Plink only.

Nothing happens without your consent

A pending Connection Request can wait forever. A Silent Connection stays silent forever. The sender can never escalate without you upgrading the level.

Block, remove, report

You can block any plate from sending you Connection Requests. You can remove a Connection at any time. You can report misuse. Reports are reviewed by the Plink team.
